TENTED LODGES

A tented lodge is a great way to experience Africa under canvas without spending the price for a luxury tented camp or mobile camping. Tented loges are constucted in fixed locations and generally have more tents than a luxury tented camp. The main reception area is often a solid wall building and the tents themselves are funished with simple but comfortable funiture.

Meals and services provided are not as personalized and elegant as those in the luxury camps, and of course the price is much more budget minded. But a tented lodge, such as the Mara Sarova Lodge or Tarangire Safari Lodge, still provides comfort and the excitement of being in the bush in a tent.
